HONEY 4 SPOTS
Honey has been for thousands of years used as an antibacterial treatment.
It helps fight infection too.
If you have a spot then apply a dab of honey and it will help the healing process much quicker and will stop you from putting more chemicals onto your skin.
If you have to squeeze, then still apply the honey after. This is better done once you are staying at home.
There is nothing wrong with using a good quality honey; Manuka is the better of choice. Use the honey as an all over face mask.
Cleanse your face and smooth over a fine film of honey, avoid getting too close to the eyes. Then just relax for 20 minutes.
The honey will sooth any spots or pimples you may have and help give you a more radiant skin.
GOOD EGG (organic of course)
Using the white of the egg (albumin) is great to help tighten the pores and give a quick fix lifting treatment.
It’s said that when applied to the skin it can help with oily skin too.
Cleanse your skin thoroughly then separate the white from the yolk.
Once you have just the egg white in a bowl whisk it up till it gains froth.
Then gently apply to the skin with clean fingers or a cosmetic brush. Leave on for 15-20 minutes; you’ll be able to feel the mask getting tighter on your face.
Gently wash off with luke warm water.
PUFFY EYES
If you suffer with puffy eyes, maybe had a late night?
Then just take a little common potato, give it a good wash, then cut some small thin slices and place them under your eyes and leave for about 10 minutes. The puffiness should gently disappear.
Leaving your eyes less stressed and tired looking.
FEED YOUR NAILS
Cold weather coming and nails can tend to get dry and brittle. So they need to be kept warm and moisturised.
Firstly make sure you start to wear gloves, you’ll be surprised how much difference they can make.
Then make sure that you use a really good nail and cuticle oil. I’ve found that GreenHands Organic Cuticle & Nail Oil is by far the best, its so good it won top awards in nail care.
Use this product as often as you can, but definitely just before you go to bed.
This product really feeds your nails and you will notice a significant difference within six weeks. No matter what standard your nails are at.
COLD FEET
If you suffer with cold feet then add some mustard or cayenne pepper powder to some corn flour, I say corn flour because it is much more natural than talcum powder.
These powders help to stimulate the circulation to the skin and so bring heat to the area.
Rub a small amount into your feet and feel them slowly start to warm.
Just make sure you put socks on if you apply the powder before you go to bed.
